Martin Brophy, Chairman of The London Gay Men’s Chorus is looking forward to the
tour.
“Our first UK & Ireland tour is an exciting step for us. Having toured
American and Australia, a tour closer to home is long overdue! As always
audiences can expect a great evening of top-notch music and entertainment.
Anyone who has seen the London Gay Men’s Chorus in concert before will know
that we have our own unique style and sound, and always keep a few surprises
up our sleeve!”
With over one hundred singers on stage, and a show that includes full choir
choreography, small ensemble numbers and a lot of comedy, the London Gay
Men’s Chorus have established themselves as one of the most entertaining
choirs in the country. All concerts are sign-language interpreted for the
hearing-impaired.
Since their formation in 1991, The London Gay Men’s Chorus have performed
across the world including The Sydney Opera House, The Royal Albert Hall,
Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, the opening ceremony of The Millennium
Dome and The Royal Festival Hall. They have sung with Boy George, Elton
John, Cleo Laine, Willard White and Jools Holland among others, and on the
hit single ‘Jerusalem’ with Fat Les 2000.
